True Blood Costume Shop

This is fun recipe that was posted at BiteBella.com as a Twilight recipe called "Werewolf Kibble", but it would also be great for True Blood parties in honor Sam. I recommend serving it up in a dog dishes and for an extra special touch you could use stickers or a marker to add Sam's name to the bowl.

Sam's Doggy Chow Recipe

9 cups Rice Chex cereal

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butter or margarine

1 tsp. vanilla

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Measure cereal into a large bowl, set aside.

In1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter andbutter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 secondslonger or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla.

Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.

Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool.

Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
